My Last Blog Post - Final Project

For my final presentation that I posted on YouTube, I decided to try and teach myself a product called Camtasia that is made by TechSmith.  They also make Jing, which we learned about earlier in the semester.

I wanted to show all the tools we learned about during the course of the semester, so I put them in a type of slide fashion, used Jing to capture some screen shots and videos, and tried to set audio tracks to the whole presentation.

It’s up on YouTube – don’t shoot me people (LOL) – this is my first video like this I’ve ever done.  Putting all this stuff together was rough and time-consuming, but I did learn from it. I definitely think it’s a lot easier to take a camera and videotape something and upload it to YouTube.

Using tools like Jing for screen captures has been extremely helpful to me in class and at work.  All in all, I learned a lot from this class, and I would have to say it’s one of the most interesting classes I’ve taken at Empire State.
